Excellence InfoSec is a joint venture of Excellence Group and Lanfex, Austria. We provide state of the art Information and security related services and products.

Lanifex GmbH based in Vienna, Austria founded in 2001 is a member company of the CSO Group with Headquarters in Wiesbaden, Germany. CSO Lanifex is the IT Security and Open Source Software Development competence center within the CSO group. Since the year 1985 CSO Group offers highly specialized technical and business know-how in various Information Technology areas.

Our main activities are the following:

• Guidance for the implementation of Risk Management and Assessment (e.g. Octave)

• Services: auditing, vulnerability scanning, security consulting 

• Guidance for Implementation of processes and standards (e.g. ISO 27002 /ISO17799//2005) 

• Development of Security Software Tools (tailor made enhancements of software tools) 

• Software tools: periodical check of the organization, permanent technical audit systems, and more Open Source Software development 

• Implementation of 3rd party IT-Security solutions (as Sourcefire, SNORT, CA) 

• Training: general training for Security, Linux and Open Source security products
